We're inching closer to the best salmon fishing on the Sacramento River in the coming weeks.  We've been fishing between Red Bluff and Corning most days and we're seeing good numbers of salmon laying in most of the holes we typically fish this time of the year.  Some days are better than others, but we have fish moving through the system every day now.  Early season Kings are the best and we're catching varying numbers of bright kings daily.  We still have some availability, but our schedules are getting tighter as the weeks go bye.  We are anticipating good fishing through mid October, but it may go longer if the salmon continue to come up the Sacramento river in late October with slightly lower river flows this year.  Check out some of the King salmon we've caught this past week!
