Look where we live the weather is great and the fishing is hot. Our local angler Dale Grace was fishing from shore near the Davis camp and landed a couple of nice stripers using a Thomas Boyant in the orange gold color. Yep its a trout spinner that brought in a nice 4.66 pound at 23 and 3/4 inches and a 3.2 pound striper at 21 and 3/8 inches. the community park area is doing well at the down river area.

Our local angler Mike Gabrielson (orange shirt) was using his favorite swim bait and landed these 2 stripped bass they came in at 4.5 pounds and 24 and 3/8 inches while the other was 4.6 pounds and 23 and 7.8 inches. this is some nice shore fishing.  

We have some topock marsh news our local anglers Dennis Baldwin and Ray Sick had a great day and landed a large mouth bass a striper and some cat fish mostly channel cats with some bullhead catfish in the mix. They were fishing in Dennis's boat using chicken livers to land the catfish the striper and large mouth were caught on a white spinner bait.

 I did get some news from up on Lake Mohave that the stripers were being picked up in early to late morning near the dam and above the power lines near the Basin trolling was producing the best with something in a white pattern. I am not sure what the issue is but anchovies have been a bit hard to get the last couple of weeks. For our area and for our bait anglers that has been the bait of choice so we hope to keep you posted on our next shipment. Now is a great time to try our yur favorite lure as we are getting a good run of stripers along our shores of the Colorado river here below the Davis dam.
