The forest closures will be lifted tonight at midnight. Please check out the Shasta-Trinity National Forest's website for any restrictions which remain in place. Smoke is also a factor in the drainage, some days it has been quite bad. However, the river continues to fish well. Just keep your thermometer handy and quit when the water temps go north of 65 degrees.
We will keep you in the loop when we hear about the closures ending.
