Fall Chinook fishing is picking up on the Salmon River as we get further into September. The forecasted rainstorm for this weekend should stir things up on the Salmon River and get fish moving upstream headed for the hatchery.
Trout fishing in streams remains open through Oct. 31. Check the regulations for open areas and bait restrictions.
