Paulina was on fire for me, and also for my friend Blue Anchor Bob this week. Lots of dry fly action on Beetles and Parachute Adams. Balanced Leeches, Chironomids, Scuds are necessary ammo for the lake too. But if I can fish dries, I will.

Crooked River: Crooked River is fishing well
Fall River: The Fall River is slowing a bit
Deschutes River- Lower: Steelhead fishing is officially going to be closed as of 10/1/21 due to the historically low run coming up
Deschutes River: Mostly nymphing but with some PMD and BWO hatches around
Deschutes River- Upper: You have until 9/30/21 to access the river from Crane Prairie up to Little Lava
Three Creek Lake: For the next several weeks until 3 Creeks freezes up, the Brook Trout will be hugging the banks
Crane Prairie Reservoir: Crane was tough this week with the Full Moon
East Lake: Good things from friends at East this week!

McKenzie River: The McKenzie is fishing super well
Deschutes River- Lower: The Lower Deschutes is fishing well on Nymphs and Streamers
Deschutes River: The Middle Deschutes is fishing well upstream of Lake Billy Chinook
Deschutes River- Upper: The Upper Deschutes is open for 11 more days
Fall River: The Fall River is good all through the sections
Crooked River: The Crooked River is fishing great
Crane Prairie Reservoir: Crane Prairie is fishing pretty well
Hosmer Lake: Hosmer was really good this week
East Lake: Beetles and Ants will continue to be good for dries,
Paulina Lake: Paulina Lake is good
Three Creek Lake: Leeches and Scuds are going to be your best flies
