The weather patterns are in mid change and the fishing has slowed down to reflect it. As we move towards the colder season adjustments need to be made. We’re hearing of a few possible trout plantings down the road so stay tuned. The bass were biting on robos and drop shot. Top bite was also decent. Bluegill on live worms inside the mouths of the coves. Good luck out there.

As the weather cools down we move into fall/autumn the fish will start to move closer. We are seeing an increase in Catfish caught using macro and though beads in the deeper waters. Just dropping it to the bottom in the deeper section of the coves on the north shore has done well. The weather has been slowing down the bite the past week. Patience is a virtue when fishing in these conditions. The early morning and later evenings are your key times to capitalize on the bite.
