The flows on the Truckee River are minimal from the upper river to Boca Reservoir. Anglers are recommended to fish from Boca to Stateline only because this is the only available water with depth. Anglers should focus on fishing the ripples or deeper pools where the oxygen levels are higher. Use low water techniques, light lines, and fish small flies like size 18 baetis nymphs, or size 18 baetis dry flies. Any anglers spin fishing should fish early morning and late evening with small spinners, small spoons, or small rapalas. Remember, if you are spin fishing it is a no bait zone and barbs must be pinched. All anglers should also bring a net and catch and release the fish as soon as possible.
FLOWS: Tahoe City 0.1 CFS, Glenshire 7 CFS, and Farad Exit 94 CFS
