The park remains closed to visitors and fisherman alike during the weekdays. We are still open on weekends. We will re-open for weekday fishing starting Monday December 13th.Trout season begins Saturday December 11th.

Catfish are being caught throughout the lake. Lake Wohlford cats are most frequently caught using chicken liver, shrimp, or cut mackerel.

Mostly small to medium sized bass being caught. Largemouth Bass can be found lingering around structure. The bass respond well to dark colored plastics, crawdads, and crank-baits.

Crappie fishing has been slow. Crappie prefer the cover of shade and are most often caught using finger jigs or live golden shiners.
