Naci remained at 10 percent of capacity, and fishing was good. Most anglers reported using a variety of soft plastics in 10 to 30 feet of water for bites. Drop shot, darter heads, and small jigs all produced well. The spoon bite picked up again last week, and most of the action has been in deeper water. Anglers have been using their electronics to locate the deep bass schools, and then persistence seems to pay off. Some white bass went for vertical spoons, but the bite hasn’t been consistent. Crappie went for minijigs and small live minnows, and catfish were reported by anglers using chicken liver and dip bait.
