Fishing has been slow. Last week they received a few feet of snow. I recommend staying away from the river until the rocks are more visible. For more information stop by the Carson River Resort.

Blue Lake Lower: The first gate is closed until spring

East Carson River (CA): Fishing is open to catch and release, artificial lures or flies with barbless hooks only
East Carson River (NV): The flows are good and have been fluctuating
Topaz Lake: The lake level has come up a few feet in the last couple weeks
West Walker River (CA): Open to catch and release fishing with artificial lures or flies only with barbless hooks
Walker River: Open all year to open fishing with lures or bait
Heenan Lake : Open to fishing until November 30th
