It was a wet week here and a tough week for anglers. The trout bite about average was nothing bigger than 1 pound being reported. Blown up night crawlers and cheese bait working best. Bass are biting a little better this week. Finesse fishing is best. Weightless senkos and spoons are reportedly working best. Catfish are hitting mackerel chunks. Good luck out there.

Be on the look out for the next trout plant out here at Miramar. We are still seeing good results from the last plant. They are biting on all colors of powerbait. Try blowing up night crawlers and using spoons and mice tails. Bass fishing has slowed down as of late. Bluegill bite is just ok. Catfish are hitting mackerel dropped to the bottom.
