The lake is frozen over and there is quite a bit of snow in the area. We'll update the report in the spring when it is open again. Meanwhile, if you would like to fish a stillwater for trout, you should check out one of our Private Waters like Sugar Creek Ranch, Luk Lake, or Rock Creek Lake.
Pay attention to the special regulations here, especially where you can and can't fish. Barbless hooks, artificial lures, catch and release. Make sure you inquire at the park entrance.
