The Sacramento River in Redding continues to produce some impressive examples of our world class trout fishery here in Northern California.  Its not the easiest time of the year to catch these big rainbows.  For some, with lots of time on the water, catching them is possible every day of the year.  Conditions are great right now, but spring brings some of the best fishing of the year, especially if we have some big flows.  Its too soon to forecast any large amounts of spring rains, but if we do see any, trout fishing on the Sacramento River will be great!  Our Jan-Feb calendar for trout trips is full, but we have open dates in March, before Striped bass season begins.  Give Jaynie a call at (530) 510-2925 for more information about fishing the Sacramento River and to check for available dates. Thank you!
