Striped Bass: The striper bite has remained a bit stagnant with few fish reported. If you prefer to target this species we would suggest using deeper diving hard baits or even trolling throughout the lake in hopes to connect to one of these usually ferocious fish.

Bluegill: Still coming in as one of the best bites at the lake. Very possible to break wide open in the right spot fishing with mealworms or crickets. Use a small bb split shot and wait for the strike on the fall.

Catfish: Slowed a bit this week but still catches being reported near the inlet. Use chicken liver or anchovies for best results.

Largemouth Bass: A few regulars have reported decent jerk bait fishing with a faster than usual retrieve while etching long pauses. Another successful bait as of recent has been the goal ole senko, wacky rig preferred.

Trout: Stockings are back to regular scheduled dates, being every other week. For best results try to come target trout as soon as possible after a delivery of fresh fish. A mining/ ultra lite combo is hard to beat on a stock day. Last stick as on January 18th.
