Marina Hours will go up to 5pm starting the week of March 14th.

Striped Bass: The usual tactics are still the most productive. Use chicken liver/anchovies at the inlet or dam area.

Bluegill: Mini jigs tipped with a mealworm or cricket are usually most productive.

Catfish: Use chicken liver, anchoives, mackerel or night crawlers on the bottom throughout the lake but especially near Ramp 2 or the inlet area. Catfishing is relatively slow lately.

Largemouth Bass: Ika’s and ned rigs have continued to be very effective the last few days. Bass have defining begun to move up shallow.

Trout: Last stock is March 8th, 2022. Come out as soon as possible after the stock and throw your favorite mini jig or color of powerbait.

Carp: No action to be reported.

Marina hours will be going up the week of March 7th to 5pm. Striped Bass: The usual tactics are still the most productive. Water level is extremely low. A method would be trolling a hard bait throughout the lake, especially main lake. Bluegill: Similar to last week. Mini jigs tipped with a mealworm or nightcrawler are usually most productive. Striped Bass: The striper bite has maintained a decent rate. Cut bait such as chicken liver down near the dam or inlet is absolutely your best bet this past week. Water level is extremely low. Bluegill: Medium bite happening throughout the lake! For best results stop and grab crickets to top a minijig. Mealworms can also be extremely effective. Catfish: A but slower still this past week.
