We have had some mixed reports coming in from Baum. The high pressure system and clear skies put the damper on insect activity. However, some anglers are hooking some very large fish, Rainbows and Browns. Zebras in brown and black, sizes #16 - 20, stripped or under an indicator are good strategies. Sweet Peas, under an indicator, or Jigged Quills in silver or copper, will work too. Balanced Leeches, Crystal Buggers, these are go-to's on this lake. Bring all of your smaller Adams and Parachute Adams, you should get a chance to cast over some noses here. Our guides have this place wired if you are looking for some tactical advice on fishing a great spring creek fishery with an expert!
