The bass bite is really heating up. You can start to see the nests in about 15 to 20 feet of water. A few 6 pounders were reported this week with the margarita mutilator leading the charge, swim bait and night crawlers were also reported doing the job. Catfish are hitting in the deeper waters as well. Try the mouths of all the north side coves. Good luck out there.

The bass bite has picked up this week due to the pre spawn. They are hitting on everything right now from senkos to robo worms to night crawlers and lures. They are moving in to around 15 to 20 feet from the shore. The Catfish are showing up as well. Mackerel and dough are working well in the deep water. The trout bite was a little better this week. Still smaller in size but action is action. Try the docks on the north side. The bass bite is picking up as well as we move towards the spawn. Drop shot and Texas rigging is still best with robo’s and senkos. Catfish are biting on dough baits, mackerel and shrimp in the deeper waters. Good luck out there. ...... Read More
