Striped Bass: Decent action on cut bait at the dam and inlet. Anglers have also had decent luck motoring around looking for schools of fish barely subsurface.
Bluegill: Crickets have been the most effective bait this week although have had good action catching spawning gills on mini jigs.
Catfish: Catfish is picking up this past week.
Largemouth: slower side on the number of fish coming to anglers on simple baits such as plastic worms and night crawlers. Two a 110 jerk bait if preferred.
Trout: No action
Carp: No action to be reported.

Lake SkinnerStriped Bass: Chicken liver or cut bait down at the dam and inlet area will work best. Lake Skinner is now open fully and ready to be fished. Bluegill: Mini jigs tipped with a mealworm or cricket are usually most productive. Small rooster tails or kastmasters can also be very effective. Lake SkinnerStriped Bass: Try bringing fresh anchovy or sardines down near the buoy line. Fly lining chunk baits has been pretty effective for anglers. A few stripers have also been picked off using night crawlers throughout the lake. Bluegill: As usual your best bet for catching panfish is to use crickets or pieces of worm tipped into a mini jig.
