Bass, striper, and catfish fell for lures and baits last week with anglers reporting good fishing. Bass anglers used Roboworms and Green Pumpkin Senkos in slower moving water for bites. The early morning topwater bite still hasn’t let up either. Striper went for cut baits, bloodworms, and jumbo live minnows after check gates, and they fell for jerkbaits, Flukes, and small swimbaits in the mornings and evenings. Catfish ate chicken liver, Trippel S Dip bait, and cut sardines soaked on the bottom. There were some very impressive stringers of whisker fish reported last week.
