In the eastern region stream flows are up from last week due to the shot of moisture on Thursday night. However, they are below the median for this time of year, many well below. The recent precipitation may make for some muddy driving conditions on the back roads. The Salmon Falls River is very turbid right now due to precipitation and snowmelt and fishing is difficult due to flows. As of April 22, Salmon Falls River was flowing at 189 cfs.
