Offshore

  • It seems that the Bluefin have come out of their daze and are willing to bite once again, a very welcome sign. We had multiple boats return with good numbers of beautiful grade fish and our reports from today's trips day are looking much better.

  • Update 5:00 PM: The Polaris Supreme just called in from their 3 Day trip with limits of Bluefin for their 23 passengers. Most of their catch were mixed grade fish ranging anywhere from 40-80 pounds.

  • The Pacifica returned from their 3 Day Freelance trip with 91 Bluefin weighing up to 192 pounds and 1 beautiful Opah for one of their 21 anglers. The Pacifica does have plenty of spots remaining for their Overnight trip departing Thursday, June 23rd.

  • The San Diego wrapped up their Full Day trip this morning with 11 Bluefin weighing between 30-60 pounds. Captain Ryan reported seeing good signs of fish and from the evidence they saw today he feels it will turnaround in the next few days.

Inshore

  • The New Seaforth had another good morning of local Calico Bass fishing with 92 Bass, 1 Sand Bass and 8 assorted rockfish for 35 anglers.The PM trip wrapped up with 115 Calico Bass with over 100 released and 7 assorted rockfish for their 47 anglers. The Half Day fishing has been on fire lately, take a break from the Bluefin and come on out for some stellar bass fishing.

Offshore Report We haven't heard too much from the fleet today with everyone hard at work trying to find a school of cooperative Bluefin. The quantity and quality of the fish are still around but it seems that the fish are still in a funk for now.
