Truxtun Lake has been a bit low, but anglers continue to report some good-sized bass. The numbers have been on the low side, but no one complained about the quality. Most of the largemouth fell for finesse baits like Texas rigged Roboworms, drop shot, and Senkos, but some of the bigger bass took crankbaits and topwater lures. Several catfish were reported by anglers soaking cut baits at night, and bluegill ate redworms.
