Roosevelt Lake is about 65 percent full. The Salt River at Roosevelt was running about 139 cfs on July 4. Expect summer conditions at the lake. Drop shots, robo worms, early action on topwater seem to be working. Keep an eye out for monsoon storms that could develop quickly.

Fishing is excellent in summer typically before midday when water quality is best and trout are most active.
