The Sacramento River King salmon season opener above Red Bluff happened today and it was a blast!  Only about 40 boats this year so boat pressure was relatively light compared to normal.  Dozens upon dozens of big bright Kings were caught all morning before the bite slowed around 9:00.  We had hoped for a good August 1st opener after a disappointing Red Bluff opener.  Needless to say we got what we had hoped for.  The grade of salmon are fantastic and we have a big run coming this year.  If you haven't booked your King salmon trip yet this year, now is the time.  We'll have a few good dates remaining so get on the phone to Jaynie and she'll let you know what dates we have left.  (530) 510-2925. Thank you!
