Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

Anglers are bringing in the striper here below the Davis Dam along our shores of the Colorado river. With anchovies working well for our bait anglers by boat or shore. Our local anglers Tammy and Jay Knapp were able to bring in and share this catch. Tammy was the one to hook up this 8.32-pound striper at 29 and 1/4 inches. They were fishing from shore across from the big bend state park using anchovies for bait. I am getting reports of a few stripers being picked up mostly in the 2-to-3-pound range near the casinos and along the community park area. not much word lately from the marsh but we are hoping for that to change soon as it's a great area for the largemouth bass anglers.
Up on Lake Mohave has been a bit slow and anglers have been going out in the wee hours of the morning and chumming the coves to land a few of the stripers the lake has to offer. with our weather being unpredictable make sure you let someone know of your plans as to where you are going and when you are expected to be back. this is a safe practice in our climate.
Hope this helps some for now and we look forward to seeing you in soon to share that catch and your story
