Summer thunderstorms will keep you off the creek in the evenings, be careful out there! Tricos in the morning on the flats are a staple. Look for fish rising regularly just off of seams and on the edges of the aquatic plant mats. Later they will be eating midges or BWO nymphs. Look for Callibaetis Spinners and then the duns. On the Powerhouse 2 Riffle, the Caddis hatch continues to intensify, Glossosoma and Hydrospyche, swinging a Soft Hackle, Bird's Nest or Poopah will get grabs towards dark. Also #16 - 18 Dark Missing Links, and the Lower Sac LaFontaine will work well. In the sections above the fish weir north of 299 you should see more terrestrial action and that is where you should look for the best Caddis hatches towards evening.
Hot Flies: TB Drowned Rusty Spinner, Rubberlegs, Sweet Pea Jigged Baetis, Pheasant Tails, Mercer's Missing Link, and Green Drakes
