Phillips Reservoir was stocked with rainbow trout throughout the spring, and some anglers had success catching trout on flies. Earlier in the year, perch fishing was slow, but we have not received any recent reports on perch fishing at Phillips Reservoir.
The reservoir only filled to about ¼ full before beginning to drain again, and it is currently only 7 percent full. Follow this link to see the Bureau of Reclamation website listing current reservoir levels. At these levels it may be hard to launch a boat.
Remember that tiger musky and bull trout must be released unharmed.
