Access to the lake is open. Recent rains have filled the lake, as a result water clarity is a little murky. Warmwater species like crappie and bluegill will often move close to the shoreline following a rain event to look for terrestrial food like worms and grasshoppers. The limit for bass is two (minimum size 13 inches), the limit for channel catfish is four, and the limit for sunfish is five. Surface water temperature 69.9 F, pH 7.96, D.O. 6.5 on 8/16/2022.
