Isabella is down to 41,100 acre-feet or 7 percent capacity. The Bass action has been very solid the last few weeks for both quality and numbers. The bite has been best in the early morning and then picks up again in the late afternoon. Bass in good numbers have been coming from submerged structure, French Gulch, Engineer Point and Rocky Point with Whopper Ploppers, Buzzbaits, Crankbaits, Texas Rigs and Jigs. Steady Crappie action in 15 to 20-feet of water with crappie jigs, live shiners, and underspins. The Catfish are biting on dip baits, mackerel, and chicken liver around steep drop offs in deeper water.
