We are well into a great Rainbow trout season. I am getting word that anglers are having good success on landing their limit of trout (5 is the bag limit of trout below the Davis Dam) here along the shores of the Colorado river. The stocking sites are Davis camp, Community Park and Rotary Park.
 
Our local angler and my granddaughter Riah Braun land these 3 at Rotary Park area. She was using a panther martin spinner, one of my favorites. I have been hearing that various baits like power bait have been working well and the all time favorite night crawlers are always a must when your lures are not producing. not much word from up on lake mohave as of yet. I have heard of a few stripers being picked up using swim baits at both community park and Rotary park area. Our water levels have been on the low release side for a bit now so be careful if you are planning to take your boat out and the shore fishing is doing well.
