The upper Klamath continues to have more fish showing up, good days are being had up there right now. Best flies this time of year for dead-drifting nymphs are dark stonefly patterns like the Black Rubberlegs. Fish egg patterns below if you are targeting fish sitting behind redds, or red Copper Johns otherwise. Brett's Klamath Intruder in olive and burnt orange is a killer pattern if you are not swinging a Copper Beaded Assassin. As the nights become longer and the temps cooler the Klamath will see more steelhead show up.
We are coming up into prime time for those of you who like to swing flies. We have spots in our Spey Clinic on Saturday, and 3 Day Spey School in November, contact Bryan or Chris in Outfitters if you would like more info.
Hot Flies:
Eggs:
• Clown Egg
• M.C. Redd Reaper - Champagne
• Micro Spawn - Shrimp Pink or Salmon Egg
• Boles Bazookas

• Pat's Rubberlegs - #4-8
• 3-D Nymphs - #8-10
• Red Copper Johns - #14-18
