The Crooked River has been fishing fair. We’re not seeing as many large fish around as before the flows dropped, but plenty of fish in the 10-14” range. Nymphing has been consistent with zebra midges, rainbow warriors, two-bits and eggs. Having some BWO’s in your box incase you find yourself in the right place at the right time is a good idea. As we mentioned in the last report, if you catch crappie or smallmouth in the river, please remove them and report it to ODFW.
