We've got a snow storm that dropped some snow around Mt Shasta city, the freeway is open right now, but if you are heading up to Hornbrook make sure you check conditions this weekend as the next storm will probably be dropping more snow up that way. It is cold up on the Klamath, but you can still pick some fish up in the upper reaches. Black Rubberlegs and a red Copper John, or a Duracell have been top producers. Seriously, you shouldn't worry too much about what you are dropping below the Rubberlegs. The middle sections are fishing well too. The middle is great swing water. Brett's Klamath Intruder in olive and burnt orange is a killer pattern if you are not swinging a Copper Beaded Assassin. Keep your eyes open for the forecast and carry chains if you go.
