This urban lake usually gets stocked from about Thanksgiving through May. It was stocked around Thanksgiving with about 1,000 hatchery trout. As a reminder, anglers may keep only one fish over 20-inches as part of their 5 trout bag limit.

Walter Wirth is a 20-acre lake located within the City of Salem’s Cascades Gateway Park with good access all the way around.

Santiam River ( North Fork) : Flows will be in good shape this week with the expected dry weather
Santiam River (South Fork): Dry conditions expected this week these flows should remain consistent
