Anglers have reported the best striper fishing at dawn or dusk. Stripers are biting on live shad and anchovies in the coves. From Boulder Harbor to the Hemenway fishing pier, anglers have been catching stripers weighing in at 2 to 3 pounds using shad, crankbaits and anchovies.
