Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

This is a great catch from Rotary Park area. Our local angler Jaysn Ochs landed this striper while fishing from shore using a swim bait. Jaysn had just picked up his limit of trout and started throwing his favorite lure. This beast of a fish weighing in at 27.96 a nice 28-pound surprise and was 41 inches in length. A little heavy for this length and I asked for him to let me know what was in its belly. The report came back and 10 fish were in pretty good shape in the stripers gut.

We had just got a trout stocking and anglers were bringing in limits of rainbows. While fishing from shore and using power bait, spinners and the all-time favorite night crawlers. One of our local hot spots is community park here along the shores of the Colorado river. This area has a great shoreline and anglers have great opportunities to pursue trout or our striper population.

Up on Lake Mohave its trolling action that is working the best for landing stirpers.

Not much word from the Topock marsh area but I am sure that will change with our water levels start to rise again.

Hope this helps some for now and we look forward to seeing you in soon to share a that catch and your story mostly thanks for all of your support.
