Heavy rains and stormy conditions kept most anglers home, but a few brave souls made it to the lake which rose to more than 45 percent of capacity. Bass held in 20 to 40 feet of water and the bite was slow. Finesse baits, crankbaits, and spoons enticed some bites, but until the lake stabilizes expect tougher conditions. Trout anglers landed fish soaking Powerbait, Mousetails, and Pinched crawlers. Minijigs and lures scored a few bites as well. There is a plant scheduled for the week of the 22nd. There were no reports for catfish last week.
