Winter steelhead are in the Salmon River. Although a bit early there are a few fish around. January-March is the typical peak for winter steelhead in the Salmon River.
Trout fishing in streams will reopen on May 22.

Walton Lake: Walton Lake Report
Santiam River ( North Fork) : River is currently running around 11,500 cfs
Santiam River (South Fork): Currently flows are around 4,700 cfs at the Waterloo gauge
Alsea River: Winter steelhead are throughout the Alsea system
Kilchis River: Kilchis should be fishable through the weekend and into next week
Nehalem River- North Fork: The North Fork should be fishable all week and may be prime for the weekend
Nestucca River: The Nestucca River has been running high this week
Siletz River: Winter steelhead are showing up in the Siletz River
Siuslaw River: Winter steelhead are showing up on the Siuslaw River
Trask River: The forks may fish well this week
Wilson River: It is in good shape right now but is predicted to bump back up Wednesday
Elk River: The river is probably fishing the best on the south coast
Emigrant Reservoir: Emigrant has filled to 15 percent full
Rogue River- Lower: Bank anglers are picking up a few steelhead in between storms
Rogue River - Middle: Current flow is around 2,100 cfs
Rogue River- Upper: Early winter steelhead should be showing up in the next few weeks
Lake Of The Woods: Ice fishing has been good
