Bass fishing at Ming is starting to improve. Bass have been coming on Flukes, green pumpkin Senkos, the new Yamamoto Senko in green pumpkin and PB&J rigged Neko or Texas. One of our contacts reported a solid bite on white Dobyns spinner baits on cloudy days. It’s been over a month since the last trout plant here. Holdover fish have been going for minijigs, spinners, pinched crawlers and garlic scented Powerbait. Bluegill have been going for wax worms, meal worms and red worms. The crappie bite is still going but has slowed a bit. The best Crappie action has been in the late afternoon with small live shiners and crappie jigs with nibbles.
