Hopefully the rains are finally going to subside and give us a chance to dry out and, more importantly, for the lake to clear. Scented powerbait, nightcrawlers dipped in garlic, or flashy lures are what is working best in the murky water.

Catfish can be found throughout the lake and prefer cut mackerel or chicken liver.

Crappie are beginning to be caught in modest numbers in Boat Dock Cove and at Crappie Rock. They respond best to mini-jigs or live golden shiners.
