The Crooked River is currently running at 2020 CFS and definitely is not fishable at this time. It looks like with how quickly Prineville reservoir is filling the Bureau of Reclamation has decided to start dumping off some water. The reservoir has gone from roughly 25 to 75 percent in the last 2 weeks. The Crooked above the reservoir is still pumping in at 4500 CFS and it looks as if the reservoir may reach capacity this year if they are already dumping water. We will keep you updated on when flows level out and we can get back on the crooked.
