The lake rose to 20 percent of capacity, and bass anglers reported catching between 5 and 10 fish on most outings. Spotted bass and largemouth fell for Senkos, Shaky heads, and Carolina rigs with Green Pumpkin, Baby Bass, and Aaron’s Magic fooling fish. Anglers also used jigs to fool larger females in deeper water. Crappie anglers used minijigs, Get Bent Baits Shad Sliders and small live minnows over submerged structure to score limits, and catfish ate dip bait, garlic scented nightcrawlers, and cut sardines. The DFWL had a scheduled trout plant here this week.
