The day use area on the Forest Service side (east side of the lake) and access from the county side (west side of the lake) are open. The lake is full. Only boats with a 10-horsepower motor (or less) or single electric motor are allowed on Cataract Lake. The limit is 2 bass minimum size 13 inches, the limit is 4 channel catfish, the limit is 4 trout.

Alamo LakeAt Alamo Lake (report courtesy of Alamo Lake State Park Manager Drew Collett, 6/8/23), the bass fishing is currently good and most fish are being caught on spinner baits and lipless cranks, or drop shotting a Baby Brush Hog or worms in pumpkin or motor oil with red, silver, or blue specks.
