The Lower Deschutes continues to fish well. Caddis have become a prominent food source and nymphs and dries should be kept on hand. Aside from caddis, jigged leeches, pheasant tails, jigged prince nymphs, and spanish bullets were all hot flies last week. PMDs are on the menu many mornings and PEDs in the afternoons and evenings. Green Drakes have also been around and having some patterns in you is a good idea. Swinging around sculpin, leeches and crayfish is another fun way to get some grabs.
