Scheduled to be stocked with trout this week. Water temperatures have been very warm and fishing has slowed down for the time being. Most anglers are having success with PowerBait. The bite may be a little better early in the morning and in the evening. Some days the fishing seems to be better than others. Catfish were stocked as recently as 5/31/23. Game and Fish biologists surveyed Goldwater during October 2021 and found largemouth bass and bluegill to be plentiful. Try using worms or mealworms on a bobber. Small spinners may work as well.
