The lake will remain closed for fishing and to the general public on weekdays throughout the fall, as it does every year, We will return to our seven day a week schedule in December at the beginning of trout season.

Please take note: We are closing earlier due to the shorter days.

Catfish are biting at both ends of the lake. Lake Wohlford cats prefer cut mackerel or chicken liver.

Largemouth Bass can be found near structure. The bass are currently hitting top water lures rats, poppers, frogs, etc...

Black Crappie are being caught near Bass Point or the crappie float mostly early in the morning or on overcast days. They are most often caught using live golden shiners or mini-jigs.
