Lake Success fell to 69 percent of capacity and fishing has been fair. Anglers reported fair bass fishing overall with a few solid reports mixed in. Largemouth anglers used curly tailed grubs, drop shot, and Ned rigs in 10 to 20 feet of water. Small swimbaits, crankbaits, and topwater also saw some action. Crappie anglers found biting fish over submerged vegetation, and the fish ate small live minnows and crappie jigs tipped with crappie nibbles. Catfish anglers got bent while using chicken liver, cut baits, and live worms.
