Up top the fishing has been stellar for steelhead, the middle sections can be tough, and the lower river should see some new fish on each high tide and storm rise. Nymphing with Rubberlegs, Bird's Nests, Duracells and your favorite egg pattern will keep you hooked up to adult steelhead. The swing fishermen will find small intruders in earth colors useful. Assassins, Bret's Klamath Intruder, Ho-Boh Spey, and Hartwick's Silent Assassin will be good flies to swing. If you really want a good adrenaline rush now would be the time to throw that skater, Hoody's Hanger or Brett's Klamath Skater do a great job. November is a great month to fish the Klamath, if you would like to set up a day with a guide give Bryan or Chris a call in Outfitters (530)222-3555.
