At one-point last week Pyramid dropped below 85 percent of its storage capacity. Stay in the main channel after launching or you will run aground. Bass anglers worked finesse baits on main lake points with fish reported from right up on shore out to as deep as 40 feet. Texas rigged 6” brown plastic worms were the best way to get bitten but drop shot and shaky heads also fooled large and smallmouth. Striped bass ate cut sardines, anchovies, and lugworms on the long soak, and trout anglers picked up a few fish in the marina with dough baits and spoons.
