The boat ramp is officially open and the dock is in the water. Shoreline anglers continue to have luck fishing on the southwest side of the lake, catching rainbow trout in the 15″-18” range, with a few brown trout in the mix. A worm 5′ under a bobber is the go-to for spin anglers, while fly anglers continue to have success with leech patterns. Boaters are having the most success reaching for trout in the deeper water. Bass fishing will pick up as warm weather patterns begin. Flows are increasing at the inlet, resulting in slightly turbid water throughout the southeast end of the lake.
